Reports say Alexander Isaac could be subject to a “nuclear choice” this summer if Newcastle United refuses to sanction their move to Liverpool.
Reds secured four famous transfer transactions with Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez and Hugo Ekitike.
And Liverpool is not taking place there with a Louis Diaz sale confirmed to Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
Last week, a widespread report allegedly informed the Magpie Commission of his intention to leave the destination he wanted in Liverpool this summer.
When asked earlier this week if he recently spoke to the Newcastle hierarchy about Isaac, Eddie Howe said:
“Of course I’m in touch with people who need to go back home, but when you’re away it’s very minimal contact.”

However, the Newcastle boss issued a dark update on Tuesday, saying, “He’s still our player. He’s signed us.
“I would like to believe that all possibilities are still available. My wish is for him to stay, but that is not in full control of me.
“We have not received any formal offers from Alex from any club. My wish is to see him stay and see him play again next year.”
Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg said on Thursday that it was “going well” to discuss Isaac’s camp as “very positive” about potential transfers to overcome the line.

Plettenberg wrote in X: The player’s camp is very positive about the situation. ISAK hopes to reach an agreement between the clubs. A record-breaking bid is required. #LFC As reported yesterday, a verbal agreement regarding a contract that will be carried out until 2031.
However, the Chronicle revealed on Thursday that Newcastle is “angry” with Liverpool.
The Chronicle writes: “The Newcastle chief is angry at the prospect of waiting for Liverpool to slap the funds to sign their starman. Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz are on sale, and the Reds will use the money to bid on Isaac.
“Hau, who cooled in the Korean heat last night, shows the patience of a behind-the-scenes saint who is essentially calling Isaac’s bluff in a story of injury. He is expected to speed up every fitness next week.”
And now the Daily Miller argues that Isaac could hit “nuclear choice” if Newcastle refuses to sell him to Liverpool this summer and the Reds prepare to offer British records.
The Daily Mirror wrote: “If Newcastle ultimately removes ISAK from the move or simply refuses to hear the offer, it could potentially lead Isaac and his representatives to go to what is called “nuclear selection.”
