JERUSALEM (AP) — Israeli forces targeted correspondent Al Jazeera, who fired an airstrike on Sunday, killing him, killing another network journalist and at least six people.

Al-Sharif reported nearby shelling minutes before his death. In a social media post that said it would be featured in the case of his death, he lamented the devastation and destruction that the war bid farewell to his wife, son and daughter.
“I never took a day to tell the truth without distortion or tampering,” the 28-year-old wrote.
