Journalist Ben Jacobs revealed the “yardstick” that judges Reuben Amorim, whispering “most disillusioned” players.
The Red Devils are currently 14th in the Premier League table and have started the season in a poor form once again on Amorim’s side in the League Cup.
Amorim is currently barely averaged points per game. This is when he joined Man UTD early in the first half and his work could be under threat if he doesn’t turn things around quickly.
Despite the horrifying form under Amorim, former CBS sports journalist Ben Jacobs revealed that the senior players are all supporting the bosses of Man UTD.
Jacobs said at the United Stand: “The senior leadership group is all behind Ruben Amorim.
“Harry Maguire in particular is said to be extremely vocal by telling other players they need to stand up and count.

“Most players want to turn things around. They believe they can do it within this system, but there are exceptions in that dressing room, and the same was true in the summer.”
Jacobs claims that it is actually part of Amorim’s new summer signature, “most disillusioned” at Old Trafford this season.
The journalist added: “Ironically, it’s been said to me, but that’s very interesting, especially since some of the new players are still not in line with reality when the pitch tactically given in football terms.
“As I have said many times, some of the new signatures saw the Manchester United team.
“And then you have Bruno Fernandez. I don’t complain about his manager. If there is, they have a positive relationship. He is the captain of a football club, but he is unhappy about playing in that deep role.”
There have been allegations that Man Utd co-owner Jim Ratcliffe ir wants to give Amorim a full season, but Jacobs thinks he might be given 38 Premier League matches since he first joined.
Jacobs continued: “I don’t think Reuben Amorim has many games to turn things around.
“I’m not so sure despite the fact that I respect other reports and that he’s as clear as getting a full season.
“From talking to people inside and around the club, I think he’s likely to split 38 games over two seasons and use that as a somewhat scale.”

Gareth Southate is tied to taking over from Amorim if Man Utd decides to fire him, but former Red Devils goalkeeper Ben Foster is unsure why the former England boss wants a role.
Foster said on Talksport: “He needs to enjoy his life. Certainly, for the UK, why would he want to go back to that frying pan, yeah, United’s answer is honestly, I don’t really know.
“I actually appeared on the show, I think it was probably about a month ago. They actually said they were doing something like Gareth Southgate, and the only reason I say is because everything else doesn’t seem to work out.
“So you may have to take a different approach, but because those who have the answer to what Manchester United needs are very difficult questions to answer.”
