Jamie Carrager revealed Liverpool’s offense and made it clear that he prefers to play for the rest of the season after Alexander Isaac signed the deadline.
The Reds will close the Newcastle Striker’s signature on the first £125 million in the final pain of the transfer window, with the deal potentially rising to £130 million.
Liverpool has been chasing Swedish International all summer, and after bidding £110 million in the window, they have seen the opportunity to sign a late contract.
Carragher was previously wary of how Liverpool would use another new signature, Hugo Ekitike, if the original Eintracht Frankfurt star fell on the bench of the lineup.
When asked how to set up an ideal Liverpool attack, Karager said in Sky Sports News:
“The left wing may be rising to grab a bit as (Cody) Gakupo, Young Rio (ngumoha), maybe (Hugo) Ekichike can play there as well and fill out for Isaac.

“Maybe sometimes Wirtz can play from the left, so you’ll see the front 2 employed by the manager.
“So I think he has more options on the left. I think he’ll see much more rotation in that position than in the other front four positions.”
Carragher added: “We need a big team. We know that. We’ll see what Liverpool brought the bench in the first two or three games.
“They actually got the game off the bench, but certainly didn’t have the quality from the bench seen from Arsenal on the weekend when they brought in (Martin) Odegard and (Ebebeki) Eze over the weekend.
“But I’m bringing in ISAK now and I think it gives them a strong depth.”

When asked whether the history of injured Isaac should be “concern” for Liverpool boss Arne Slot, Karager replied.
“His first season at Newcastle has missed quite a few games at Newcastle, and it’s hard for anyone to replicate when he had Sarah, Farmino and mane a few years ago.
“They played all the games and never got hurt, but looking at the circumstances of Liverpool’s injuries last season, we hope that there has been a significant improvement under Arne Slot from what we saw previously under Jurgen Klopp.
“Hopefully, slots do things and move things on the training pitch will help ISAK in that situation.
