EXCLUSIVE: UTA has signed actor Jamie Roy for representation.
Roy is perhaps best known for his breakout role as Brian Fraser in Starz’s Outlander: Blood of My Blood, the prequel series to the hit historical fantasy franchise Outlander. The new series, currently airing its freshman season on Fridays, follows the romance between Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Roy), parents of Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield), and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine), parents of Jamie’s soulmate, Claire Fraser (Caitríona Balfe). Season 1 will conclude on October 10.
He previously starred in Phil Blattenberger’s 2023 WWII Thriller Condor’s Nest as Sergeant Lewis. The film follows an American combat aviator who serves in Europe, and a decade after the fall of Nazi Germany, travels across South America in search of a war criminal and encounters more than he bargained for.
Additional notable credits include the TV movie Your Boyfriend Is Mine, the crime-drama movie Squeaky Clean Mysteries: Hazardous Duty, as well as the TV movies Flowers and Honey, Burning Little Lies, and Picture Perfect Lies.
A Scottish native, Roy began acting at a young age and has since built a résumé that spans drama, thrillers, and mystery.
He continues to be represented by Cutler Talent in the UK, Cohesive Entertainment Group, Viewpoint, and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.
