Aquaman’s Jason Momoa is unrecognizable after shaving his first beard in six years
Jason Momoa is jumping into a new look.
Aquamanstar shaved his first beard in six years in preparation for filming Dune: Part 3, which recreates the role of swordsman Duncan Idaho, after leaving the second installment of the film franchise in 2024.
“Goddammit,” he rather whipped after fussing about his signature obstacles in a video shared on Instagram on July 30th. “i hate it.”
Calling it a “kick-off” to a new chapter, Jason added Dune’s director Dennis Villeneuve in a scream, “For you alone.”
However, the 45-year-old’s face is not the only familiar one on the set. After all, his 16-year-old son Nakoa Wolf Momoa, whom he shares with his former Lisabonnet, was cast as Leto II, the son of Paul Atreides of Timothy Chalamet and Chani characters from Zendeya.
“The rude awakening is what he does,” Jason joked to the Extra in early July. “He’s been hooked on the workforce for the first time, and that’s going to be a good thing.”
