Javier Poza and Jimena Gállego are set to co-host La Casa de los Famosos All-Stars starting in February on Telemundo.
The reality competition series returns for its fifth season and will bring back stars from the past four seasons for a chance at redemption.
Poza is the third male host to helm the show since the show’s premiere in 2021, with Héctor Sandarti as the main host. Season 4 of the reality show saw Sandarti depart and Nacho Lozano take over hosting duties opposite Gállego. Poza joins the show after hosting Telemundo’s survival competition, La Isla: Desafío Extremo.
Spanish-speaking audiences are familiar with Poza, who hosted Univision’s ballroom dancing competition Mira Quién Baila. La Casa de los Famosos, based on the Big Brother format, is also not a new concept for Poza, who co-hosted the celebrity version of the format for Televisa, Big Brother VIP.
Gállego has been with the show since the first season, providing commentary on all the happenings inside the house.
La Casa de los Famosos brings celebrities under one roof to compete against each other to win a cash prize. The celebrity contestants are surveilled 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Viewers at home can access live feeds from inside the house to catch all the action and get to know the stars like never before. Audiences also have a say on who stays and who goes from the house, voting for their favorite stars each week.
La Casa de los Famosos is produced in Mexico for Telemundo by Endemol Shine Boomdog, a Banijay Americas company.
