Joseph Sikora (Power, Power Book IV: Force) has joined the cast of Hulu and Onyx Collective‘s Reasonable Doubt for Season 3.
Reasonable Doubt centers on Los Angeles-based high-powered criminal defense attorney Jacqueline “Jax” Stewart (Emayatzy Corinealdi) as she deals with past traumas, a struggling marriage, motherhood and a murder case while trying to keep her life together.
In a series regular role, Sikora will portray “Bill Sterling,” Jax’s coworker at her firm Binder, Hurwitz & Stewart. Bill started his law career later in life after serving in the Coast Guard for ten years. As he looks toward making partner, his proximity to Jax becomes imperative to his success.
The series regular cast also includes McKinley Freeman as “Lewis Stewart,” Tim Jo as “Daniel Kim,” and
Angela Grovey as “Krystal Walters.”
Reasonable Doubt is created, written and executive produced by Raamla Mohamed. Kerry Washington executive produces alongside Pilar Savone for Simpson Street, Larry Wilmore via Wilmore Films, Anton Cropper and Lena Cordina. Shawn Holley, Jon Leshay, Tamara Gregory, Erika Harrison and Zahir McGhee serve as co-executive producers. The series hails from Onyx Collective and is produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.
Sikora will play a completely different character from the opposite side of the law on Reasonable Doubt. He is best known for his portrayal of the drug dealer and overall lawbreaker “Tommy Egan” since Power premiered in 2014 until the present day as the lead of his own spinoff Power Book IV: Force, with occasional visits on Power Book II: Ghost which concluded its run last year. Force will be back for its third and final season later this year.
Additionally, Sikora had a three-season arc opposite Jason Bateman in Netflix’s Ozark with additional TV credits in Netflix’s Maniac and HBO’s True Detective.
His film credits include The Intruder for Sony/Screen Gems, Jacob’s Ladder for director David M. Rosenthal and the Paramount/Skydance feature Jack Reacher. Sikora is a partner in Black Fox Productions, which creates TV storylines inspired, in part, by his native Chicago.
He is represented by Independent Artist Group and LaPolt Law.
