In what has been rumored for months, Sony Motion Pictures co-President Josh Greenstein is in talks to go to the new Paramount Skydance in an undefined role. We heard this back over Oscar weekend that he was sitting down with buddy David Ellison, however, nothing official could happen in terms of papering a deal as the merger wasn’t tied up with a bow. Now that the FCC has cleared Paramount Skydance, it’s OK for Greenstein to enter talks with the new Ellison operated entertainment conglom. The merger becomes official on Aug. 7.
