EXCLUSIVE: “Comedy meets erotica” is the name of the game of a new podcast hosted by Katherine Ryan.
Ryan is presenting Write Me Dirty, in which each week the comedian will set the stage with a ridiculous and often absurd prompt. Two guests will then go head-to-head to write erotic stories about each other. After both tales are aired, Ryan will crown the week’s “Erotica Champion” based on sexiness, funniness, and creativity. The winning story earns a spot on her bookshelf.
Write Me Dirty is the fifth podcast from JamPot Productions, the indie run by Made in Chelsea stars Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo. Ryan is an award-winning comic who has appeared in The Duchess and the upcoming The Bad Guys 2.
Ryan said: “When they asked me if I wanted to host a show about sex, erotica and fiction I didn’t have to think twice. I said ‘Absolutely not.’ But when I realized I’d have a front row seat as comedians squirmed through the awkwardness of reading aloud the erotic fiction they’d written about each other for a prize, and I reconsidered.”
Last month, we revealed Laing and Habboo’s podcast had been rebranded from NewlyWeds to NearlyParents. They are expecting their first child later this year. Laing, Habboo and JamPot are represented by UTA.
