And the pair were honest with their kids about the ups and downs of all life. “Literally, when we snuggle, I literally ask my kids, “Are you happy? And if you’re not, can you make you happy?” “Especially for the last two years they’ll say sometimes, and it kills me and I want to be honest with them, so I never say, ‘Oh, God, don’t say that,’ but in many cases it’s “I’m really sad. I’m really sad. I wish Mum and Dad were in the same house.”
“They’re really honest about that,” she continued. “I’m raising such individuals. I want you to be honest.”
