Kendrick Lamar, Trey Parker & Matt Stone Movie Heads To Spring 2026

-

It’s CinemaCon week, so, studios get those release date changes and announcements in. Today, Paramount‘s untitled Kendrick Lamar, Trey Parker and Matt Stone movie from filmmaker Dave Free, which was set for July 4 this year will move to March 20, 2026.

How’s that? The Pulitzer Prize winning, 22 Grammy trophies, and Black Panther Oscar nominated Lamar is kicking off his global tour on April 19, while Parker and Stone have their South Park commitments. The plot is under wraps, but it’s original live-action comedy.

Producers are Stone and Parker for Park County, and Lamar and Dave Free for pgLang.

The release date move leaves Universal’s monolith Jurassic World Rebirth on July 2 and an Angel Studios untitled movie on July 4 with Warner Bros/DC Studios’ Superman from James Gunn opening on July 11.

Lamar, Parker and Stone’s untitled moves to a frame where there’s Amazon MGM Studios’ Lord & Miller directed, Amy Pascal produced, Ryan Gosling starring Project Hail Mary and Lionsgate’s faith-based, I Can Only Imagine 2.

At 10AM on April 3, Paramount has their CinemaCon presentation here at Caesars Colosseum in Las Vegas. Also, The Running Man director Edgar Wright and star Glen Powell are showing up at an industry luncheon alongside Josh Brolin and Colman Domingo.
