Kylie Jenner always takes over the legacy of Jesus Guerrero.
Six months after a longtime friend and hairstylist unexpectedly passed away at the age of 34, the Kardashian star celebrated what was his 35th birthday in an emotional social media tribute.
“There’s no day when I don’t think about @Jesushair,” Kylie wrote on her August 23rd Instagram Story along with a photo of a cake topped with five illuminated candles. “Happy Heaven Birthday: You will be loved and missed forever.”
A few days after the tragic news broke in February, Kylie shared a heartfelt note to honor the late hairstylists who counted Jennifer Lopez, Dua Lipa and Katy Perry as clients, recalling what his friendship meant to her.
“Jesus was more than my friend. He was the light of my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love and unwavering support,” she wrote over the years alongside her and Jesus’ photos and videos on February 25th. “I don’t know how he’d accomplished it in the last decade if he wasn’t by my side. He had a way of making the heaviest day lighter.”
