EXCLUSIVE: Veteran literary agent Ian Greenstein is joining Innovative Artists. He is coming off a decade at Gersh, most recently as Co-Head of Television Literary. Te majority of his clients are expected to follow him to Innovative.
Greenstein was a senior agent at Broder, Kurland, Webb and Uffner before starting the boutique literary agency Genesis with three other partners in 2000. Genesis subsequently merged with Paradigm in 2005, with Greenstein staying on for almost a decade. After a brief stint at Resolution, he joined Gersh in 2014 as as a senior agent in its TV lit department.
“I’m incredibly excited about joining the growing group of dedicated and aggressive agents at Innovative,” Greenstein said. “To seize on the opportunities that abound at this agency in helping to further build the company and expand our footprint at this moment in our industry was an opportunity I could not miss.”
Greenstein’s arrival follows Innovative’s hire last year of veteran TV lit agents Andy Patman, Martin Spencer and Martin To.
“I am so delighted to welcome Ian to the agency. I couldn’t be happier than to start this new year with even more expansion in our growing literary department,” Innovative Artists President Scott Harris said. “Ian will be a fantastic addition to our robust team, and I can’t wait for him to bring his wealth of experience and dynamic energy to the agency.”
