Liverpool is set to launch a new talk with Crystal Palace on the deal to sign Mark Guech this summer.
The Reds have already made great strides in the transfer market with six players signed by famous deals from Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez and Hugo Ekitike.
Arne Slot has received full support from the Liverpool Board this summer after the Dutch won the Premier League title as Anfield’s head coach.
The Reds are still looking for a new centre-back to compete with Virgil van Dik and Ibrahima Conate next season, but they hope to place a £110 million bid on Alexander Isaac and sign him despite Newcastle’s rejection of the offer.
While Crystal Palace’s Guech, who is in the final year of his contract, was the main centre-back associated with his move to Liverpool, the Reds are determined not to pay the £45 million that the Eagles are looking for.
Recently, former Manchester United and Tottenham Scout Mick Brown (still well connected in the Premier League) have insisted that Guech wants to move beyond Newcastle United to Liverpool.

Brown told Football Insider: “Newcastle wants to bring in a new defender.
“We know that the majority of their focus is on strikers in Isaac’s situation at the moment, but they have been following the centre-back since last summer when they missed Guehi.
“From what I’ve heard, interest in Guehi is still there, but he wants Liverpool’s move. So, Newcastle has seen other options, including Brighton’s (Janpaul) Vanhecke.”
And now the Daily Mail claims that Liverpool will “reignite consultations” with Crystal Palace over the Reds in the new centre-back market after Jarrell Kuansa’s move to Bayer Lebakusen leaves three senior options in the position.

With Reds supporters having “goldfish memories,” it would be “unusual” to pay Isaac £150 million
However, the Reds could potentially turn to Palma youth Giovanni Leoni instead. Instead, there is transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who revealed Liverpool’s interest earlier this week.
Romano said on his YouTube channel: “Giovannileoni is a very popular choice in Liverpool.
“Everyone really likes Leoni. We know about Inter (and) Juve. Really, all the big clubs have moved to help Leoni understand the situation.
“If Liverpool decides to Leoni, it’s obviously going to change everything. It’ll be hard for others to compete. They’re looking for a young centre-back and he’s on their list of candidates. But it takes patience as it’s not an advanced or final deal with the table offers.”
And now, Italian publication Tuttosport (Sport Witness) claims that he is “really serious” about the Premier League champion signing Leoni, and will tell the club “take care of Liverpool” at the race to sign the 18-year-old.
