Two experts say Liverpool forward Mohamed Sarah and the entire team are “losing” new Real Madrid star Trent Alexander Arnold.
The Reds lost for the second time in four days on Tuesday night, with Victor Osimhen’s penalty coming to Galata Salei’s 1-0 win over Arne Slot’s side in the Champions League.
Crystal Palace scored its final winner on Saturday as Liverpool lost 2-1 in the Premier League and dropped the first point of the season at Selhurst Park.
Many observers believe Liverpool was fortunate to have won all five of the first five Premier League matches of the season.
Liverpool may have easily lost it on the larger scoreline against Crystal Palace in Saturday’s defeat, but their midfield looked disjointed again against Galatasaray, and their defenses looked porous.
The Reds spent a lot of money over the summer with some of the signatures that looked better at the team alongside Jeremy Fripon, Milos Kerkez, Florian Wiltz and Alexander Isaac.

However, former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara hasn’t thought he’s gotten as well defensive as in recent years, and is yet to be convinced by Frimon and Kerkess.
O’Hara said on Talksport:
Former Liverpool striker Dean Sanders added:
“Do you think Sarah will miss him? Obviously, a lot of Sarah’s services come from disguised paths that were on the same wavelength as Torrent. How did he continue to get behind people?
O’Hara replied. “Flimon is like someone who wants to run with the ball. He’s like a fullback who plunders. Trent is like a football player who wants to help Sarah, and it feels like he’s off their team.”
Sanders continued: “Yeah, yeah, you’re right, but both fullbacks tonight had the chance to pick people in the box, but they didn’t.”

When asked if the team’s rotation led to individual mistakes, Liverpool boss slot told reporters:
“I think you’ve explained this many times, but there are a few players who have missed the preseason, so you can’t simply play all of them (the game).
“We’ve been seeing this more and more because if demands increase and demands rise, players need to prepare to accommodate these requests. This means that while you don’t always want to spin, players may need to be needed because players aren’t ready to play 90 minutes three times in 7 or 8 days.
“I really like my team, but there are no 25 or 26 (players), so if you’ve got 2, 3 or 4 injuries, 15 or 16 players, then Rio (ngumoha) and Trey (Gioni) are two of these 15 or 16 people and things have to play almost every time.
“But this is a decision we made together. I fully believe this because it’s very difficult for you to manage your team. But the result is that Hugo, Alex (Isaac), Connor (Bradley), (Alexis) Mac Alistair, who don’t have the Plays Seasons that players should have, and I can’t play them every time.”
