Bayern Munich have “set demands” on Liverpool target Michael Olise, who could replace Mohamed Salah at Anfield, according to reports.
In this summer transfer window, Liverpool invested around £400m to sign top targets, making them arguably the biggest spenders in Europe.
The Reds twice broke the British transfer record when they signed Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak, the latter joining the club from Newcastle United for around £125 million.
Liverpool also brought in Hugo Ekitike, Jeremy Frimpong, Milos Kerkes and Giovanni Leoni, but their form was poor, losing three consecutive away games before the international break.
Arne Slott’s team has a lot of quality at their disposal, so things will work out in the end, but he could also feature in next year’s transfer window.

Liverpool are likely to prioritize signing a new centre-back and central midfielder in the coming months, but could also sign a winger to replace Salah in the long-term.
Earlier this year, Salah signed a new two-year contract that commits him to Liverpool until 2027, but he has had a slow start to this campaign.
Olise now appears to be the favorite to succeed Salah after the former Crystal Palace star was exposed at Bayern Munich.
The 23-year-old has made 10 appearances in all competitions for Bayern Munich this season, scoring five goals and providing six assists, but his future is in doubt as Bayern Munich have shown they are keen to sign him to a new contract and avoid interest from elsewhere.

Louis Steele of the Daily Mail has confirmed that Olise is a “one to watch” move to Liverpool in 2026.
“Yes, there is a chance. Confidential previously reported that Bayern Munich forward Olise is definitely a player to watch next summer, but nothing more than that at this stage,” Steele said.
“Olyse will definitely be an option in the summer, so keep an eye on this space,” he added.
Meanwhile, Spanish newspaper Ficajes reports that Bayern Munich have “demanded” a transfer fee of 150 million euros (approximately 13 billion yen) from Oliseh, which is the highest in history, more than what Liverpool paid for Isak.
The report claims:
“Liverpool have named a replacement in attack. Oliseh seems to be the priority to cover the inevitable loss of Salah.”
“The Reds are rumored to be prepared to offer more than 100 million euros for him. Bayern Munich are demanding 150 million euros for the player to leave. However, Bayern insist the Frenchman will not leave easily. Extending his contract until 2031 is one of the plans they are considering to protect him.”
