Premier League legend Matt Le Tissier told Reuben Amorim that “his time is coming to an end.”
United under the Amorim was not in good shape. He controlled the sides in the lower half of the Premier League last season and did nothing to improve them.
After six games this season, they lost three times and finished 14th in the league. The Amorim system still takes some adaptations. United have the most XGs in the Premier League this season, but they haven’t been translated into the attacker’s goals signed to play the top on the Amorim side.
But United’s overrun in the middle, when Bruno Fernandez plays in a deeper role than before, is the midfield and defense, which are looking at the biggest issues.
With no noticeable positive change in Old Trafford, many feel that Amorim won’t be in his job for long. The Premier League legend, Lutissier, is the latest.
He told Football Insider:
“I don’t know what Man United fans think, but certainly Amorim has given him enough time to sort out that team? Still, there seems to be little indication of a major improvement for that team. I think his time is over.
“I don’t think the board would make that decision long ago. As much as I don’t like seeing managers get fired, it’s probably the right decision, but this has now been going on for quite some time.
“I don’t know if the board and Ratcliffe’s patience will last much longer.”
Details of Man Utd for F365:

There are multiple reports suggesting that United moves ahead of Amorim and there are a line up of groups of potential alternatives.
However, BBC journalist Simon Stone says it feels fair that Sir Jim Ratcliffe gives the entire season.
