Club legend Wayne Rooney has given a clear verdict on Reuben Amorim and Ineos, claiming Manchester United “has no soul.”
Naturally, Rooney is nowhere near what he saw from Man UTD this season, with the Premier League Giants in the first place in 14th place after six games.
Head coach Amorim is under intense pressure following Sunday’s 3-1 defeat to Brentford, followed by Man UTD’s boss being his favorite to become the next Premier League manager.
Following the defeat to Brentford, Amorim has been reported to hold Ineos’ support, but he and Man Wood will desperately need a victory when they host the newly promoted Sunderland at Old Trafford next Saturday.
Rooney did not pull the punches when analysing Man Utd and Amorim, admitting that he “has no faith” to get things around.
He also told Ineos “whatever necessary to get the man’s utd back.”
“I haven’t seen anything that gives me confidence. There needs to be a big change in my opinion,” Rooney told BBC Sports.

“Manager, players, whatever it is. Anything needed to get Manchester United back.”
He added: “I don’t recognize the entire football club. I don’t see players fighting. I can’t see the characters. I don’t want to win.
“I’m going here again, looking at the game, hoping for it, hoping for the team to lose or pick up points.
“It’s not just about the outcome on the pitch. It’s all about the club that needs to be revised. Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos took on a real challenge.
“We see members of staff who will be fired in 20 or 30 years, who are very important to that football club.
“The soul has left the club. We need a new engine, a new lease of life. We need something to start that football club.”

Rooney also argued that club owners need to send a “clear message” to soothe supporters.
“We need a clear message from the owner,” Rooney continued.
“I need a message of whether it’s Glaser (minority owner) Ir Jim Ratcliffe, where this club is heading, and at the moment, I’m sitting there waiting to collapse.
“The culture of that football club is gone. I watch it every day. I see staff members losing their jobs.
“That football club has two kids (at the academy) and I really hope this doesn’t affect what they’re doing. What you’re seeing at that football club is not Manchester United.”
