Nottingham Forest’s “top target” to replace Nuno Espirito Santo is supported by accepting “QUIT” and “offers” to join the Premier League club.
Nuno has led the club to the safety of the Premier League in 2023/24, since replacing Steve Cooper at Nottm Forest at the end of 2023, and led the club before it was shocked in 2024/25.
Nevertheless, it has become clear that the job of Nottm Forest’s head coach is under threat as his relationship with controversial owner Evangelos Marinakis deteriorates.
Nuno still has a backing of Forest’s fanbase, but it is still unclear whether this situation is recoverable within the links with Brendan Rogers, Jose Mourinho and Angipost Coglu as a possible replacement.
The weekend report claims that Rogers is Forest’s “top target” to replace Nuno, and that the current Celtic boss will only be on a contract until 2026.
“These games are tough, we know that we can get the best players and get into this kind of situation as quickly as possible,” Rogers said last week.

“There are no players here, so there are many ways to dress up. It was pretty clear. There’s no need to look much into the future.
“I think we need to improve our team, and we’ve made it clear for a long time.
“We see that. I think our supporters are seeing that. We need to improve.”
Now Chief Mick Brown, the Premier League chief, remains “very well connected in the game”, “stopsing” the Celtics to Rogers and joined the Forest in a “twist” about Nuno for the main reasons.
“There’s still a possibility that Rodgers could leave,” Brown told Football Insider.

“There was talk that if it appeared, he could consider the work of Nottingham Forest, and if he’s offering that role, I think he’ll take it.
“It appears he’s always been looking at a potential return to the Premier League. He doesn’t think he’s happy with the support the board has given him in the transfer market.
“He hopes to improve his team, maintain the distance between them and the rangers and be competitive in European competitions, but the board seems satisfied with their glory, knowing they’ve been ahead of the board.
“If they’re not supporting him and not trying to improve, what’s the point of staying there?
“That’s how he sees it, so he keeps his powder drying out, and if such an opportunity appears for him to manage in the Premier League, he will take it.”
