Man United are ready to allow Jadon Sancho to leave Old Trafford on a free transfer despite having an option to extend his contract, according to reports.
The Red Devils have allowed Sancho to join him on loan for the third time since moving to Old Trafford in 2021 after his form for the England international has plummeted.
Sancho has made just 83 appearances for Man United over the past four-and-a-half seasons, with Ruben Amorim allowing him to join Premier League rivals Aston Villa on loan during the summer.
The Manchester United loanee is yet to start in the Premier League for Villa, with the former Borussia Dortmund player disappointing in just six appearances in all competitions.
SPORT claims Sancho is unlikely to increase his value during his current loan spell and Manchester United are now ready to cut losses on the 25-year-old.
The Premier League giants “resigned to allow England players unpaid time off next summer, a year ahead of schedule”.

The paper added: “His contract at Old Trafford expires next summer, but United have the option of extending him for a further year to protect his transfer fee.”
“However, talkSPORT has been told that United are leaning towards cutting Sancho’s losses completely rather than risk another year on around £200,000-a-week wages.”
Amorim’s success in turning around his fortunes in recent weeks could mean Manchester United will look to make a new signing in the January transfer window.
The Red Devils have picked up 10 points from their last four Premier League games, with Man United now one point behind defending champions Liverpool in third place in the table.

There are rumors that Man United are looking to bring in a new striker after summer signing Benjamin Sesco has struggled to make an impact since joining the club.
Brazilian youngster Endrik was one of the players linked with Old Trafford, but transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has ruled out the Real Madrid starlet joining the Red Devils in January.
“There are zero rumors about Endrik joining Manchester United, because he wants to play,” Romano said on his YouTube channel.
“He will be ready to play, as he is doing at Real Madrid, but what he wants most now is to play regularly to show his skills and develop.”
Regarding Endrick’s destination, Romano said: “Endrick’s current favorite is Olympique Lyonnais.
“Negotiations are ongoing for a simple loan, no buyout clause, no full contract. He does not want to leave Madrid completely.”
