Following a recent performance on her dreamy tour in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the “My Church” singer claimed that fans inappropriately groped her during an exclusive convention and greeting.
“Tonight’s show was so much fun, but someone grabbed my ass while I met and greeted her before the show,” Mullen wrote on her Instagram story on August 23rd.
“Know I’m there to connect, share, hug, hug everything,” she continued.
This unpleasant experience comes two years after the 35-year-old confirmed her divorce from Ryan Heard, who went on to marry five years.
And while Split was a difficult experience, Mullen’s heartbreak ultimately became the musical inspiration behind her latest album.
“I have not documented what happened during the relationship,” she told Kat in May. “I document the subsequent sadness, anger, sadness, and the vulnerability of reverting myself back to life.
