Luigi Mangione pleads not guilty to federal murder charges in the UnitedHealthcare CEO shooting
Roger Goodell is one of the remaining leftists after the events of July 28th.
The NFL commissioner spoke after the shooting occurred in the midtown Manhattan office building that houses the organization’s headquarters, among other companies, including investment management company Blackstone. Four individuals have been confirmed to have died, including New York Police Station officer Didallu Islam.
In a statement shared with the employee and obtained by NBC News, Goodell said, “One of the employees was seriously injured in the attack. He is currently in the hospital and is in stable condition. The NFL staff are in the hospital and are supporting his family.”
The Commissioner confirmed that all other employees are believed to be safe and considered.
“We are deeply grateful to the law enforcement officers who responded quickly and decisively to this threat,” Goodell added.
Islam, who moved from Bangladesh to the US, was involved in the NYPD for over three years on every NBC News. Police Commissioner Jessica Tish also confirmed that Islam was the father of two children and that he and his wife were expecting a third child at the time of their death, according to the outlet.
