NEW YORK (AP) – Michael Kors was feeling lax as he brought a love of nature to the city’s New York City for the celebrity-rich spring/summer show of 2026 New York Fashion Week Thursday.
The iconic designer loves to make him Comfortable guests at his clothes and his show, There he transformed the empty warehouse space into a cozy room inspired by his beach house illuminated by a huge paper lantern. There was a side table filled with wooden panels and ceramic vases and juicy plants.
The front row was bustling as stars like Gwyneth Paltrow, Olivia Wilde, Leslie Bibb, Ariana DeVos and Suki Waterhouse chatted before the show.
The Course calls the collection “Elegance on Earth,” and says he was inspired by his recent trip to tropical destinations.

All of the clothes felt loose, starting with loose cargo or an oversized button-down silk blouse paired with wool crepe drape culottes. The set of white linen match sets in skirts and trousers looked like enthusiastic yachtwear. All the fabric was light and often thin, lending it to comfort and wear.

“I loved silhouettes, especially with the colour palette, I lived in nature and lived naturally. I love the pop of pink and obviously the slight glitter here hurt no one,” she said with a smile.
