Former Premier League striker Michael Owen is sure Liverpool will win the title unless Viktor Gyoker, who signs the new Arsenal, is getting better.
Swedish International joined Sporting CP Gunners for 73.5 million euros last week after a few weeks between Arsenal and Portuguese clubs.
Gyoker reportedly abandoned the 7 million euro committee from the summer transfer to aid in the move in line with negotiations, but Gyoker attempted to force the move.
Arsenal has been screaming for a proper score for centre forward for a few years, and Owen believes he will decide not only for Arsenal, but also whether there will be a title race for next season.
Owen said on Talksport: “The pressure on him (Gyoker) is incredible. Arsenal has been needing a center forward for a long time and all of a sudden they have it, so everyone thinks it’s something they lack a jigsaw.
“He then left and took the No. 14. This only put pressure on Thierry Henry in his shadow in many ways.

“But if he attacks and he’s good, Arsenal will be another serious challenger. But if not, I can’t see anything but Liverpool.”
Liverpool is set to add Newcastle United striker Alexander Isaac to four famous signatures: Florian Wiltz, Jeremy Fripon, Milos Kerquez and Hugo Etiquique.
Isaac told the magpie hierarchy that he wants to leave the club to Liverpool after the Reds showed their willingness to pay UK record fees to Sweden International.
In response to criticism of Isaac’s stance, Owen defended the striker after leaving Liverpool for Real Madrid in a controversial situation, saying, “If a decent player becomes available, a big boy will come and ultimately they will move.”
“But you put yourself in the player’s perspective. Without ambition, there’s nothing in football. You’re trying to win as much as you can and get to the best team.

“That’s what drives everyone, people will say it’s money, not.
“Most soccer players just want to win the best teams and the best competitions and trophies. Unfortunately, this scenario never changes.”
Speaking last November, Owen opened up about his decision to leave Liverpool for Real Madrid, saying, “Real Madrid is a glamour club, but I had no thought or dream about playing for them.
“When I intrigued them, I had mixed feelings. I was proud that such clubs were interested in me. I think there was a plot.
“From the moment I decided to go and listen to my interest, I threw around for nearly a week.
“I spoke to my manager (Rafa Benitez) and to Rick Parry (Chief Executive Officer).
“Unconsciously, it was something I needed, a sense of security. I really didn’t want to leave. Liverpool was my club.
