Relationships Expert Paul C. Brunson Joins Netflix Reality Show ‘Cheat‘
Relationships expert Paul C. Brunson has boarded Netflix UK’s Cheat: Unfinished Business reality show with Amanda Holden. The series follows eight ex-couples whose relationships have been torn apart due to cheating. As they reunite at a Spanish retreat, each pair will be guided through their issues by Brunson. Brunson is best known for his hit podcast We Need To Talk with Paul C. Brunson and he will bring expertise to helping the couples through their problems. The show is being produced by Love Island maker Lifted Entertainment and 12 Yard and is Netflix’s latest dip into the UK reality space. “When Netflix, Lifted and 12 Yard brought this idea to me, I was so excited by the opportunity to explore all the grey areas of infidelity for the contributors and the audience alike,” said Brunson. “Infidelity is complex and painful, but I don’t think it always has to end a relationship.”
Alan Sugar To Host BBC’s ‘The Apprentice’ For Three More Years
The Apprentice host Alan Sugar has signed up to three more seasons of The Apprentice, bringing him way beyond the 20-year mark and up to his 80th birthday. One of the BBC’s most popular shows, a version of the format that started life hosted by Donald Trump in the States, will continue with its presenter until at least 2029. Sugar revealed the news last night on the Amol Rajan Interviews: Alan Sugar show. While he’s “absolutely” proud of the legacy The Apprentice has had, he told Rajan he is increasingly aware of the contestants who are in it more for fame than business, saying: “I spot them straight away, so that’s why they never become the winners.” The Apprentice has been airing on the BBC since 2005 and is produced by Fremantle-backed Naked.
Secret High-Level Meeting Set For Series Mania
Key players from France, Canada and Spain will meet behind closed doors at Series Mania for an “exclusive, high-level strategic meeting” ahead of this summer’s Conecta Fiction & Entertainment in Cuenca. Insights from the talks will inform a follow-up meeting at Spain’s Conecta, albeit that one will be public-facing. France and Spain are being spotlighted at Conecta’s Focus Countries program this year. Those attending next week’s talks include France’s Centre national du Cinéma (CNC), USPA, Le SPI and Eurocinema. The Canadian delegation will include representatives from the Canada Media Fund (CMF), SODEC, Ontario Creates, CMPA, APFC, and the Embassy of Canada in France.
BBC Making Formula 1 Podcast
The BBC is taking a leaf out of Netflix’s Drive to Survive book by forging a podcast following a racing team. The Inside Track will tell the story of the 2025 Formula 1 season with exclusive access to Oracle Red Bull Racing run by Christian Horner. Sports journalist Matt Majendie has been given full access to the Red Bull F1 team and will be joined by co-host and F1 enthusiast Rick Edwards to explore the wider competition as it unfolds. Netflix’s Formula 1: Drive to Survive, which goes behind-the-scenes of at the drivers and races of the Formula One World Championship, has been hugely popular, running for seven seasons and 70 eps since 2019. Majendie said: “Red Bull have been the most successful F1 team in recent years. I’m thrilled that they’ve given me unprecedented access to their operation.” The news comes on the morning that former BBC F1 racing commentator Eddie Jordan was announced to have died.
