“It’s very helpful to me and just understand my role as a stepparent,” Katherine said last month about her coaching sessions during her parenting and co-starring with you. “Like parenting, Steppen rings don’t have a handbook because I have the advantage of being in both roles.”
“Step parents are very confused because you are not a parent, you are not a nanny, you are not an assistant,” she continued. “You are responsible for all these areas, but you are neither.”
Chris admitted how difficult it is for stepparents.
“Children are children, and they are on their own path,” he explained. “They probably have to constantly deal with the fact that they are divorced children. If parents are making the effort to create structures for their children and hold their children accountable, it can feel God. But that’s really, really important work.”
