Reports say Premier League Giants Chelsea are at risk of “serious punishment” on one condition as “severe punishment” is “closing the point deduction.”
Earlier this week it was revealed that they had “opened the book” to the FA, and that they were charged with agent restrictions for 74 violations while in the possession of Rome Abramovich.
On Thursday, the free agency issued a statement to confirm it had “claimed” Chelsea.
The statement stated: “The Football Association today charged with violations of J1 and C2 regulations of the FA Football Agent Regulations, violations of A2 and A3 regulations of FA regulations, and violations of A1 and B3 regulations of third-party investment in player regulations.
‘In total, 74 fees have been raised against Chelsea FC.
“The acts subject to claims range from 2009 to 2022, and Finality is related to events that occur during the 2010-11 The 2015-16 Playing Seasons.
“Chelsea FC will need to respond until September 19, 2025.”

In response, Chelsea revealed its own statement.
“The club’s ownership group completed the club’s purchase on May 30, 2022. During the thorough due diligence process prior to completion of the purchase, the ownership group recognized potentially incomplete financial reports regarding historical transactions and other potential violations of the FA regulations. As soon as the purchase was completed, the club self-reported these issues to all relevant regulators, including the FA.
“The club demonstrated unprecedented transparency during this process, providing comprehensive access to club files and historical data, for example. We will continue working with the FA to conclude this issue as quickly as possible. We want to record our appreciation of our FA for our involvement with the club in this complex case.
It has also been revealed that Chelsea faces three potential punishments for these charges, including fines, settlements and sports sanctions.

Currently, Football Insider’s “Today’s Update” claims that Chelsea is facing “serious punishment” and that it relies on “proving” that it “earns the benefits of the sport after being prosecuted by the FA.”
The report explains:
“If the fees are supported, sources say the Chelsea penalty will revolve around whether it can be established. They have gained the sport’s advantage.
“However, changes in ownership and cooperation from clubs under investigation are believed to have eased potential punishment.”
