Under a deal announced between the team and the District of Columbia in April, the team will return to the nation’s capital with a new stadium expected to cost nearly $4 billion. The stadium will be built on the site of RFK Stadium, where the team won three Super Bowls in the 1980s and 1990s and where the team played for more than 30 years.
Democratic Party President Joe Biden signs the bill Late last year, the land that includes the old stadium was transferred from the federal government to the city.
