Prince Harry denies claiming he punched Prince Andrew in comments about Meghan Markle
Prince Harry has set the record straight.
After a new book on the rise and fall of York’s House, Harry and Prince Andrew argued that it had become a physical altercation at a 2013 family gathering after Andrew made a statement about Meghan Markle behind Harry’s back.
“You can see that neither is true,” a spokesman for Harry told people in an August 2nd statement. “Prince Harry and Prince Andrew never had a physical battle, and Prince Andrew never commented on Prince Harry about the Duchess of Sussex.”
According to an excerpt from Andrew Rouni’s book (a joint biographer of Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson), he mainly portrays him as a controversial figure – published in the Daily Mail, “Armortal Discussion” came from “Andrew Says Behind Harry’s Back.”
At an instant, the biography claimed that “a punch was thrown,” leaving Andrew with a bloody nose. The author also went on to claim that Andrew had personally proposed to Harry. He insisted that his relationship with Meghan would not last as he was “opportunist” as she put it down.
