And while details about the latest addition to the Nadal Perelro family have not yet been revealed, according to multiple reports, Meekel was named after Mary’s father, who died in 2023 after a brief illness.
Rafael, 39, and Mary, 37, tied the knot in 2019, but are also the parents of Rafael Jr., 2.
And when Clay’s King retired from tennis in October after a celebratory career of 23 years, Raphael made sure to share how much his wife’s support meant to him.
“My family is everything to me,” Raphael said in an emotional announcement video in October. “My wife, Mary, we’ve been together for 19 years. I’m grateful for everything you did. I think you were the perfect travel companion in all of these careers.”
