Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior will reportedly be ‘sold’ this summer if he rejects a £300m offer, according to sources.
Vinicius has developed into one of the most influential players in the Real team. The Brazilian winger made 332 appearances for the club, scoring 111 goals and providing 87 assists.
He has scored five goals and provided four assists in eight league games this season. It came after there was speculation he would be on the move in the summer, but clearly he wasn’t.
But now there is further speculation about Vinicius’ future. In fact, his current contract runs until 2027, and it has been suggested that he may not sign a new contract.
The reliable Insider X account reports that if the offer of a new contract is “rejected” by the winger, he will be “sold” to Saudi Arabia in the summer.
In fact, Al Ahly are said to be in “direct negotiations” with Real regarding Vinicius and plan to make an offer of £300m for Vinicius.
If that happens, the current world transfer record would be broken by more than £100m. In fact, Neymar’s move to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 cost nearly £193 million.
It was after the winger scored 105 goals and assisted a further 76 goals for Barcelona.
Vinicius’ numbers at Real are better, but he has played around 150 more games for the club than Neymar at Barça.
Money is hardly an issue for the Saudis anyway, so if they can raise the league’s profile by bringing in a big star, that’s what they’ll do.
Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah is reportedly being offered £150m, while Bruno Fernandes is also the subject of a big offer.
No European team would offer such a sum for the aforementioned players, so the choice for Vinicius appears to be to remain at Real or move to Saudi Arabia.

However, if he rejects the contract offer, he could end his contract with Real and move wherever he wants.
Chelsea, Manchester United and PSG have recently expressed interest in signing Vinicius, so there are certainly options.
The salaries on offer in Europe will not be on the same level as in Saudi Arabia, but the important thing is that the winger continues to play at a high level, and after falling from the top two in the Ballon d’Or voting to 16th, he will certainly want to push himself up the list.
