Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Manchester City has reached a “club-to-club agreement” this summer for Manuel Acandi’s transfer.
The city has signed Tijani Ray Nauders, Rayan Ait Noli, Rayan Cherki, James Trafford, Svere Nipan and Marc Betainilli for about £150 million this summer, selling James McTe, Jan Koot and Maxio Perrone for £50 million.
They got off to the best possible start on Saturday, beating the Wolves 4-0, but Fabrizio Romano claims there could still be a “move” for Etihad before the end of the transfer window.
And Galatasaray is the key to that as goalkeeper Adason sees Manchester City advance to land Gianluigi Donnaruma as his replacement, and Romano will make sure he “stays his favourite” to sign the PSG goalkeeper.
Transfer experts also revealed in X that the city has reached an “accord” with the Turkish giants over Manuel Akanji’s deal.
He wrote: There are no suggestions for players yet at the table, and there are currently no indications from Akanji regarding their intention to accept their destination. No transactions agreed between clubs have yet to be made with players. ”
Romano later revealed that “a £15 million fee has been agreed” between the clubs, and that Galatasaray will submit proposals to players in the coming hours to try out this week’s deal.

Meanwhile, Erling Haaland, fresh from the braces on the first day, continues to be a subject of great interest from Real Madrid, particularly President Florentino Perez.
Spanish outlet Fichejes argues that Perez is planning to “plan to discuss his deadly contract with Vinicius Jr.’s “an uncertainty surrounding Vinicius Jr.’s future,” which he “will attempt to interact with Manchester City and Haaland in the summer of 2026.”
It will be added to the report:
“Florentino Perez knows that Kylian Mbappe revolutionized the front, but he also knows that the force still lacks a reference center that guarantees the numbers of authentic predators in the region. That role has been met by Erling Haaland in the English team, and his desire to wear white is no secret. In fact, in recent months, his entourage has hinted that he is waiting for President Meringue’s call.
“Real Madrid doesn’t hide their ambitions to bring Mbappe and Haaland together in the Santiago Bernabéu. It will become a historic duo that will dominate European football over the next decade. For this reason, Florentino believes Vinicius’ letters are decisive: to provide it as part of their operations with Manchester City.
