Liverpool moved quickly from the disappointment of Alexander Isaac’s failed bid.
The Reds are already very active in the summer transfer market, with four famous arrivals to Florian Wiltz, Jeremy Flippon, Milos Kerkez and Hugo Ekitique.
However, after the Swedes revealed last week that they wanted to “explor the options” from Newcastle and put their minds on the move to Anfield, they were boosted by their bid to sign top target ISAK.
The £110 million opening bid on Friday was quickly denied by Newcastle. Newcastle has been making demand for £150 million a long way, and transfer expert Ben Jacobs has revealed that the Premier League champion has stopped chasing the 25-year-old.
Jacobs wrote to X: “Exclusive: Liverpool has no plans to bid again on Alexander Isaac.
“The rejected offer was £110 million. The terms of ISAK are not an issue.”
However, after Louis Diaz moved to Bayern Munich, £65 million, Liverpool still wanted to add a new advance to their ranks, and now moved for Real Madrid star Rodrigo.
Brazil International is deeply tied to the transition to the Premier League amid doubting his future in Madrid after Xabi Alonso arrived as manager.
Rodrigo was a key cog for Carlo Ancelotti, but was rarely featured in the Club World Cup under Alonso. It suggests that Ross Blancos is ready to hear the winger’s offer.
As Arsenal’s interests slowed down to Ebeki Eze’s pursuit, last week Rodrigo claimed he was “open” to become Tottenham’s “best paid player,” but the 24-year-old was also claimed he was “limped” in hopes of Liverpool taking part in the running.
And his patience appears to have been rewarded, with ESPN Brazil (via Standard) claiming that Liverpool has already been in contact with Rodrigo’s agents ahead of their first formal bid.
Journalist Shiro Lopez claimed that Rodrigo agreed to his personal terms with the Reds, saying, “Liverpool spoke to Rodrigo’s aides, and the Real Madrid forward has approved an unofficial offer of personal terminology.”

And Daveockop claims that Liverpool wants not only to secure a great signature, but also to “delive a psychological blow” because Rodrigo is ready to make a strong bid for the winger, who is believed to be valued by the Los Blancos at 90 million euros (£78 million), because “it caused a psychological blow to Real Madrid.”
The report states:
‘The Reds have identified Real Madrid’s Rodrigo as their best target and are said to have already been in contact with his representative. The report suggests that the Reds are ready to make a strong bid, and considers the Brazilians an ideal fit for Arne Slot’s system.
“What adds a plot to the situation is that some Spain believe that Liverpool’s Rodrigo’s pursuit is not just about filling the vacant seats, but also about dealing a psychological blow to Real Madrid. Liverpool is a Spanish giant known for poaching top talent, and could be seen as an opportunity to turn the dynamics back.
