EXCLUSIVE: Sky Sports News will launching a daily magazine show for the upcoming Premier League soccer season with Roman Kemp presenting a special edition each Friday.
The Premier League Show will run Monday to Friday between 5pm and 7pm UK local time on the pay-TV network, offering news, in-depth features and expert analysis on the English pyramid’s top division.
Kemp is a new signing to Comcast-owned Sky. The radio DJ and TV presenter will lead the Friday version, titled Premier League Friday, which will act as a gateway into the weekend’s sport.
Between Monday and Thursday, Julian Warren and Emma Paton will alternate on presenting duties. Each episode will include a dedicated reporter and pundit.
Kemp will kick off the series on August 15, building up to the opening weekend kickoff the following evening at 6.30pm, when champions Liverpool play Bournemouth on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event.
“Football means more to me than anything,” said Kemp. “To be a part of a show like this building up to the biggest games in world football is a real privilege. I can’t wait to get going and as a fan, do this show justice.”
Sky Sports has secured a minimum of 215 matches and 80% of all televised fixtures for the 2025/26 season – a significant uptick given it is competing against the increasingly aggressive Prime Video and Warner Bros. Discovery’s TNT Sports.
