Tottenham has created a list of five alternatives for Ebeki Eze after Arsenal hijacked their move for the Crystal Palace star.
The Spurs were approaching Eze’s contract before Arsenal reached an agreement with the player for Crystal Palace and his transfer after Kai Herberts was injured on Wednesday evening.
Fabrizio Romano wrote to X: oral agreement between all parties. Crystal Palace receives more than £60 million packages, just as Eze prefers #AFC over Spurs. Arsenal won at Tottenham and received high-level consultations for several days, but was never sealed.

TBR Football’s Graeme Bailey has picked four players Spurs are interested in and may be aiming to make his return to the palace by pushing top targets to replace Eze at Selhurst Park.
Bailey said: “Tottenham asked about the circumstances surrounding Bilal El Cannas, which Crystal Palace agreed to replace Eze.
“However, despite Elle Kearns agreeing to join the palace, there is no deal.
“I was also told that the Spurs asked about Sabigno again, but they have not received any encouragement from the city.
“Tyler Doubling is another player on Tottenham’s radar, and the Spurs are still interested in him, and Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott is another thing they admire.
“Tottenham is working hard. They already know the market.”

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano throws Morgan Rogers’ name into the mix as “dream target,” but admits that the trade for the forward, which is worth £800,000, is “very difficult.”
He told Givemesport:
“What will happen to Tottenham now? They’ve already started making some calls today to try and understand the situation new players are adding to their teams.
“For example, you can tell that one of the dream targets Tottenham has internally is Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa.
“So, people in the industry believe this deal is nearly impossible for Morgan Rogers, but we can assure Tottenham that he internally considers him as the perfect candidate.”
