According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham Hotspur “consents personal terms” with Bayern Munich star Joa Pargigna in the interests of Manchester United.
The transfer window this summer was frustrating for the Spurs as Nottingham Forest missed Morgan Gibbswhite, who wrote a new contract after he made a tap-up accusation.
Still, the North London outfit spent £120 million on signing this summer as they landed Mohammed Kudus, but Mattis Tell and Kevin Danso joined the club permanently after last season’s loan.
Now Tottenham is turning his attention to signing former Fulham star Palhinya, who is reportedly appearing on Man UTD’s midfield potential list.
Last summer, the 30-year-old left Fulham to earn a potential £47 million total for Bayern Munich, but after 25 appearances for the Bundesliga champions in the 2024/25 campaign, he is due to return to the Premier League.

On Thursday, the Spurs moved to the front of Kew for Pargigna’s signature, revealing a “advanced speech” about Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg’s transfer.
He revealed:
“Tottenham is undergoing high consultation with Bayern Munich on Joan Parchña’s signature, according to Germany’s Sky.
“We understand that Sky Sports News will be a straight loan because there is no options or purchase obligation.”

Transfer expert Romano later revealed that Parghínha had “accepted personal terms” prior to the move to Spurs “which would “cover his salary.” He also reviewed two details regarding the structure of the transaction.
He tweeted: “Tottenham has agreed to his personal terms with Joan Parghinja and is in high-level consultation with Bayern.
‘Palhinha’s initial loan…and the contract includes purchase options clauses, not required. The Spurs cover his salary and trade in the final stages.
Journalist Ben Jacobs added:
“Paulin has already agreed to this move. The party is currently finalising potential purchase options.
“As revealed, Paulin said he wants to move forever, but the loan formula will remain.”
The deal is a big boost for the Spurs, but the move to MLS is ongoing, making the two players closer to leaving the Premier League Giants.
