Michael Patrick King, Showrunner of “Sex and the City” sequel “And just like that…” he announced on Instagram that the series will end after the third season has ended. Fans have a two-part finale to experience later this month.

King said he decided to put things together while writing the final episode of the season. The finale was then split into two episodes. The final episode will be dropped on August 14th.

Parker, Christine Davis and Cynthia Nixon are back in the sequel. It was almost missing Kim Cattrall and her Samantha Jones; Although Cattrall made a short, unreliable cameo in the season 2 finale. In her farewell post, Parker wrote of her stylish carry, “I changed my home, my time zone, my boyfriend, my heart, shoes and hair, but I never had any love and devotion to New York City.” She called Carrie “my professional heartbeat 27 years.”
