The Spurs are also planning a bold move for Man City’s Winger Savinho, denying a bid for him earlier this month.
Reports from Spanish outlet Fichajes claim they are trying to “revive” the deal and provide 85 million euros (£73 million) to their Premier League rivals, but Man City is reported in this window against Savinho’s sales.
The report claims:
‘To date, Spurs had approached the city with lower offers, including around 50 million euros, but this was firmly rejected. The English Club appears to be happy to bring up the figures to convince Sky Blues with this final stretch and change the market outlook.
“From a Manchester City perspective, the desire to keep Savinho is clear. Pep Guardiola has made it clear that he doesn’t want to break up with key players, and the club is asking for a really attractive fee.
“This could cause a domino effect. Tottenham pays that high fee and Manchester City is all going out for Rodrigo, considered an offensive alternative. If they opened the door for Sabigno, that move has always been part of the city’s plan.”
