Netflix has quite a large slate of new and returning series coming in 2025. The slate was previewed Wednesday at the streamer’s annual Next on Netflix event in Los Angeles, which was also streamed across the globe.
Some of the most anticipated projects include Stranger Things 5 and Wednesday Season 2, neither of which have premiere dates just yet. So far, Netflix has revealed a huge slate for February, as well as a smattering of series that are expected through August, but a large portion of the series the streamer says we’ll see this year haven’t been confirmed for a specific date yet.
Of the dates that were revealed, perhaps the biggest surprise is that the third and final season of Squid Game is coming sooner than audiences might have anticipated, premiering on June 27. June will also bring another season of Ginny & Georgia.
The year will also see another installment of Ryan Murphy’s Monster starring Charlie Hunnam, as well as more Black Mirror, Emily in Paris, Nobody Wants This, The Witcher, My Life With the Walter Boys and The Vince Staples Show.
As far as unscripted goes, the revival of the reality dating series Temptation Island with new episodes coming in March.

Unscripted series without release dates so far include an untitled Victoria Beckham documentary and an untitled SEC football series. Other new documentaries include Katrina: Come Hell and High Water and Gone Girls: The Long Island Serial Killer. There’s also American Manhunt: Osama Bin Laden. We’ll also see the return of Formula 1: Drive to Survive, Love on the Spectrum, America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and Untold.
Netflix is also continuing to lean into live events with the debut of Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney, the SAG Awards, another NFL Christmas Day game and more.

The video above also gives a tease of what’s to come. Rather than include footage from some of the upcoming shows, though, Netflix has taken a different approach with this sizzle reel. In the video, a woman gets caught watching Netflix at work before being transported (literally) into several of the streamer’s most well-known universes — as well as some new ones we’ve yet to encounter.
