Watch out, America. Grace Penn is President of the United States in the upcoming season of Netflix‘s The Diplomat.
A new trailer for Season 3 of The Diplomat, which also announces the new episodes will debut October 16, features Keri Russell‘s Kate Wyler issuing an ominous warning about what might be to come with Allison Janney‘s character in the Oval Office.
“A terribly flawed woman is now the president, and only we know just how flawed,” Kate says, alluding to the Season 2 reveal about Penn’s involvement with the bombing of a British aircraft carrier in the Persian Gulf.
It sounds like it’ll be up to Kate to keep the new POTUS in check. Watch the full trailer above.
Netflix also released more first look images for the third season of The Diplomat on Monday. Those are below.
From creator, showrunner, and executive producer Debora Cahn, The Diplomat also stars Ali Ahn, Rory Kinnear, and Ato Essandoh. It is executive produced by Janice Williams, Alex Graves, and Keri Russell.
