EXCLUSIVE: The Initiative Group has hired Ashley Roe, continuing the firm’s expansion across its talent division.

Roe has worked on several Emmy and Academy Award campaigns, including Emmy nominee Tom Pelphrey (Ozark) and Academy Award nominee Catalina Sandino (Maria Full of Grace), among others. In addition to Pelphrey and Sandino, Roe’s roster of talent includes Guy Burnet, Sebastiano Pigazzi, Bobby Naderi, Shiraz Tzarfati, and Treylan Newton, as well as rising filmmakers like Kane Parsons (the 20-year-old director behind The Backrooms), Harley Chamandy, DeVon Franklin, and James Madigan.

In tandem with Roe’s appointment, New York based publicist Sarah Yorke has been promoted to Vice President. A member of Initiative Group since its inception, and previously a publicist at BWR, Yorke’s clients include Danai Gurira, Connie Britton, Jeremy Sisto, Jenna Elfman, Dan Fogler, Lio Tipton, Aasif Mandvi, United Nations Development Programme, The Hometown Project and North Fork Television Festival, among others.
