Reports say Liverpool starlet Rio Nugumoja is being targeted by Spanish giants Real Madrid after an impressive start at Anfield.
The talent for England Under 17 International was known for some time, but Ngumoha announced with two goals and two assists for the Reds in the preseason.
Since then, Ngumoha has become Liverpool’s youngest ever scorer after scoring the winning goal in a 3-2 victory at Newcastle United at St. James Park just days before his 17th birthday last month.
Ngumoha was once again included in the Matchday Squad as Liverpool beat Arsenal 1-0 over the weekend, with Arne Slot revealing he will be given the opportunity to fight for playing time with the first team.
The former Chelsea Academy star recently revealed that he believes he can win the Barondore in a day, saying, “I really believe he can win the Barondore.
And now, Spanish website Defensa Central claims that Ngumoha was “begged” by Real Madrid and is “targeted” by La Liga Champions.

Trent Alexander Arnold made the move from Anfield to the Bernabeu in the summer, but Conate and Alexis Mac Alistair are also linked.
The latest report claims that “his name will be in the spotlight sooner than later,” and that Real Madrid “will keep an eye on his situation, of course.”
Liverpool “already working to renew his contract” and “It’s all in the hands of the younger players. They have to make decisions in the coming months.”
Ngumoha “has made it clear that he has a certain love for Real Madrid,” and now “keeping close monitoring” the progress of the 17-year-old if La Liga Giants can make a deal.

His teammate Mohamed Sarah has given Ngumoha advice after telling him to avoid social media after the meteor rise over the past few months.
Sarah told the man on the Blazers Podcast: “He’s still young. After the game, he said, ‘Leave social media alone.’
“But you don’t actually get engaged or appreciated from the outside world because it’s always fake. You’re always trying to ask for it.
“So the future awaits him depends on how he handles the situation. How do we work? I have to work hard because he is so young, and just stay humble.
“I wish him the best. He has a good group (around him). We always try to talk to him. The manager (Arne slot) also talks to him.
