Jamie Redknap believes New Aston Villa is signing Jadon Sancho. Jadon Sancho was not upgraded by Marcus Rashford or Marco Asensio, but both spent the second half of last season renting out at Villa Park.
Sancho completed the seasonal loan transfer from Manchester United to the villa on the deadline. He spent his final semester with Chelsea.
After his arrest with Erik Ten Hag, current United head coach Ruben Amorim revealed that Sancho has no future at Old Trafford.
He is the second Red Devils player to join Aston Villa on loan this year after Rashford, who won a productive six-month spell before heading to FC Barcelona in the summer.

Rashford’s days at Villa Park were short, but he had a huge impact. The same goes for Marco Asensio, who took on loan in January.
Sancho’s first start came in the third round defeat of Villa’s Carabao Cup at Brentford. Apart from hitting the post, he has little to offer, and Emery’s overwhelming addition to his team has already been called out by Rednap.
Villa won the Premier League four games after winning goalless, 19th place, claiming that the Rednap is still too early, but he admitted he’s not excited about Emery’s side this season.
“It’s still too early, we have to respect it very much, but I don’t get the excitement I had with them under UNAI last year,” Rednap told Sky Sports.
“We were lyrical about how his team was set up, how good they are, how much energy they have.
“I don’t think Sancho is an upgrade for the Rashford and Asensio.
“I think it’s going to be one of those seasons. Are they going to compete in the top five? I don’t think they’re capable, not when they see that team.
“I think it’s going to be one of those seasons where they’re still trying to do well, but you can push and get Champions League football…
“I look at the villa team and the team and I think it’s going to be one of those long seasons with a lot of ups and downs.”
Summer signer Harvey Elliott also faced Brentford and scored the first goal of Villa’s season. Aaron Hickey’s equalizer simply sends the tie to the penalty.
BBC sports journalist Matthew Henry said Villa looks more threatening after Ollie Watkins and Morgan Rogers got off the bench.
Henry wrote:
“Eliott had some bright moments in his first start since joining from Liverpool, but Villa was the most threatened in the final quarter when Ollie Watkins and Morgan Rogers were brought from the bench.”
