Scott Minto says Thomas Tuchel is not happy as England manager and could move on to become Manchester United manager at the end of the season.
Tuchel oversaw his seventh game as England manager on Thursday night as the Three Lions defeated Wales 3-0 at Wembley.
The 3-1 friendly loss to Senegal in June was the only time England failed to win or keep a clean sheet under the former Chelsea manager.
Despite some underwhelming performances, it was a strong start for Tuchel, who is tasked with leading England to glory at next summer’s World Cup.
But that early success came amid former Chelsea defender Minto’s insistence that he was “not really enjoying his job in England”.

Minto believes Tuchel could replace Ruben Amorim as Manchester United manager at the end of the season as he is “surprised” by the nature of the international manager.
“Personally, I think coach Amorim will be there until the end of the season and personally I think Thomas Tuchel will be his successor. We’ll see what happens and if that happens,” he told talkSPORT.
“From what I’m hearing, Tuchel is not particularly enjoying his job in England. We’ll have to wait and see how the World Cup goes…if he wins it.
“Of course he seems excited about this in interviews and he knows how to play the game.

“I’m a Tuchel fan. I thought what he did at Chelsea was great and I wasn’t happy with him being England’s manager. I would have preferred Eddie Howe, but that’s fine with me. I’m not happy with him being England’s manager.”
“Having said that, I don’t think Eddie Howe came out last night and criticized England fans. I don’t think it was a play[for Tuchel to get sent off]. I think it’s just him being who he is. He’s a very straightforward person and believes in himself. He’s one of the top managers in the world, so that’s to be expected.”
“I have no complaints about Thomas Tuchel at all. I don’t think he particularly enjoys coming together for a few weeks and then not being able to play or camp for a few months.
“I think he’s probably a bit surprised by what it’s like to be England manager. He’s used to testing himself against the best teams in the Champions League.
“If there’s a way to find a higher quality opponent for England, whether it’s a friendly against a top team, then that would be better. But it’s all about major tournaments and he knows that’s how he’s judged.”
“But even in the group stages of the World Cup, England could get through it, so in reality he will only be judged for one or two knockout games, depending on how far we get. That will be how long it will take for him to get into a really competitive game.”
“Going back to Man United and what Sir Jim (Ratcliffe) said, I think it was one of those games where he didn’t support the manager 100 per cent at first. That said a lot to me. Then he said this about the three years.
“But if Manchester United continue like this, he won’t get three years.”
