Spurs star Richarlison has reportedly said “yes” to a “sensational return” to Premier League rivals Everton, but the deal is subject to two “key” factors.
Richarlison was plagued by injuries and poor form during his time at Spurs, and there was a strong possibility that he would leave the club in the summer.
A potential move to the Saudi Professional League has been consistently discussed in recent months, but he has now received a lifeline offer from Tottenham Hotspur’s new head coach, Thomas Frank.
Richarlison started this season as Tottenham’s first-choice striker and impressed for the north London side, scoring three goals and providing two assists in nine Premier League appearances.
Despite this, Richarlison still faces a departure, with reports earlier this week claiming that Spurs were set to be “open to offers” for the forward in January.

The possibility of a move to MLS has been floated, but there have also been hints that he could return to Everton.
The Toffees continue to improve under manager David Moyes, but are lacking in the batting department and will likely look to sign a new number nine in January.
And according to our TEAMtalk pals, Richarlison has ‘said yes’ to Everton ahead of this winter’s transfer window, but the deal is subject to two ‘key’ conditions before being given the full ‘green light’.
Firstly, it depends on “what kind of deal Spurs are willing to accept”, but the paper also states that “Tottenham would only be open to letting Richarlison go if they sign a new striker in January”.

Football Insider also reported that he had “opened the door for a sensational return to Everton”.
Former Premier League chief scout Mick Brown insists Richarlison is “still highly valued at Everton” as he remains “very well connected within the game”.
“I hear Richarlison is still very highly rated at Everton,” Brown told Football Insider.
“Personally, I don’t think he’ll ever get into the starting XI with any certainty. He’s not consistent enough to be a regular No. 9. But it’s a decision of the powers that be, and if they look at him and think he improves on his current abilities, they could make a move.
“It’s not necessarily that he’s not good enough to start every week at Tottenham, the question is whether he can develop for Everton.
“They want to sign a new striker because the current two are not enough. Richarlison is not the only player they are looking at. They will be looking at several options.”
“In terms of his future at Tottenham, if he moves in and out of the side and doesn’t get a consistent start, he might have some questions about his place in the team.
“Interest from teams like Everton could offer him more regular starting minutes, so he could be tempted to move.
“If he does, he will speak to Frank and Tottenham about his role in their plans and if he is not going to be a regular starter then maybe he will move on. Then it will just be a matter of price and whether Spurs let him go.”
