Tracy Morgan Pilot Not Impacted By Medical Emergency At Knicks Game

-

Tracy Morgan was taken out of Madison Square Garden on a wheelchair, Monday night, his head buried in a towel, after the court side-seated Saturday Night Live alum vomited profusely on the floor, causing a delay in New York Knicks’ game with Miami Heat.

On Tuesday morning, Knicks super fan Morgan posted a photo from the hospital, hooked up to a monitor. “I’m doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning,” he wrote next to the photo, in which he gives a thumbs-up.

The incident happened while Morgan is working on his untitled NBC comedy pilot from Tina Fey, Robert Carlock and Sam Means. The project, which is filming in New York, had its table read on Friday. According to sources, shooting is not scheduled to begin until later this month, so Morgan’s medical emergency has had no impact on production, and its schedule remains unchanged with producers monitoring the situation.

The pilot, starring Morgan as a disgraced former football player on a mission to rehabilitate his image, is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group. Daniel Radcliffe, Erika Alexander and Bobby Moynihan also star.

Here is Morgan’s IG post, in which he gives a shout out to the MSG cleaning crew and to the Knicks who won their game.
