Tyrese Halliburton attends old school with an engagement to college lover Jade Jones.
After all, the Indiana Pacers players popped questions on the Illinois State campus, where they went to school together. As seen in photos and videos shared on Instagram on July 28th, Tyreese went down a knee on the basketball court inside the Hilton Coliseum and presented her girlfriend of six years with a massive oval cut diamond ring.
“Where our story began,” the NBA star wrote in the caption, “And where the next chapter begins.”
Jade added in the comments section: “Future Mrs. Hari.”
Tyree’s fellow athletes also thought the romantic gesture was a slam dunk. WNBA star Caitlyn Clark wrote, “Wedding Time, Love You.”
“Ohhhhhh s- ttttt That’s time,” said Jalen Smith of the Chicago Bulls.
And Tyree may spend some downtime at home in the coming months to focus on her wedding planning, missing out on the entire 2025-2026 NBA season, which heals from a torn Achilles tendon after undergoing surgery in June.
