EXCLUSIVE: Tyler James Williams has signed with Range Media Partners for representation.
The actor has thrice been nominated for his role at Gregory Eddie on ABC’s Abbott Elementary. In 2023, he won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical, Comedy or Drama for his performance.
He also made his directorial debut in the most recent season of Abbott Elementary and will be directing again in Season 5, which premieres in October.
Williams rose to fame playing Chris Rock in the sitcom Everybody Hates Chris, for which he won an NAACP Image Award. He has also been seen in Go On, The Walking Dead, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and Whiskey Cavalier. He is also a recurring member of Hulu’s sketch comedy History of the World: Part II.
On the feature side, Williams has appeared in The United States vs. Billie Holiday, The Argument, Detroit and Dear White People. Beyond his on-screen work, he has partnered with a curated list of brands including Balenciaga, and was named to Time Magazine’s 100 Next List in 2023.
