Coco Gough has returned to the ditch in New York.
Certainly, after winning the 2023 US Open, the Grand Slam champions are gearing up for what this year’s contest brings.
“New York has always been an event I do well, I was an American two years ago and won two years ago,” said Coco, 21, E! News from the interview on August 20th. “I’m extremely excited. The energy of this city and the US open is unparalleled. I’m very excited to compete.”
“I enjoy these accumulation days,” she added. “Every year, I enjoy interacting with supporters because there’s always something going on and off the court. The fan interaction is something that’s most exciting about it, both on and off the court.”
But when she prepares for the tournament, the only thing that keeps her energy up isn’t their support. To get into the action, Coco celebrated the release of their first naked protein pineapple orange smoothie on August 20th with a corner pop-up in Coco.
